What does the New Year bring?

Just a little heads-up on what to expect in 2011. We promise to keep the Head Technician hard at work – he may be allowed out briefly for a little bit of Christmas tucker, but that will be all…

Work on the second volume of Black Mill Tapes is well underway. Entitled “Do You Synthesise?”, expect it to land in February/March.

He’s completed a mix for Exotic Pylon, which will be aired in January as part of the “Weird Tales for Winter” launch night. More details here…

That sneaky Head Technician has some super secret shenanigans going on right now, we hope he’ll be able to tell us more about that in the New Year…he’s being very tight lipped so far.

There’s also exciting news regarding related project “Jackal’s Doom Disco” (hint: vinyl EP coming early 2011)¬†Of course, you’ll be the first to know the who, the when and the where.

…there may be a little seasonal remix out there somewhere as well!

This will be the last post for 2010, so have a Merry Xmas and a lovely New Year!

See you all in 2011!

  1. Hi, I’ve been meaning to stop by to tell you how much I adore your music. Here I am now, and I’m really looking forward to future releases! Best for the New Year, Eric.

  2. Dear Head Technician,

I’ve just discovered Pye Audio Corner by accident (thank God for accidents). Nearly fell out of my chair, in fact – your music is absolutely terrific! Somehow, you’ve managed to engineer a near perfect balance between Belbury Poly, Mount Vernon Arts Lab & Black Devil Disco Club, i.e. EXACTLY the sort of thing I’ve been looking for for the past half decade…(!) “Radiophonic Discotheque”? Why not!

One question: is your stuff available in hard copy format, or just digitally?

You’ve got my e-mail address, let me know as soon as you release something else please…

    All the best,

    Ian

    • Wow, thanks for the kind words. All the above mentioned artists I greatly admire, so to be compared to them is very flattering! I’m glad you find the music agreeable :-)
At the moment this is a digital release only, the next volume will be also.
We’re not ruling out the possibility of a CD compilation in the future though.
Of course we’ll keep you informed of new releases..
      Thanks,
      HT
